PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Strengthening the Screening of Lung Cancer in Europe (SOLACE) project aims to enhance low-dose computed tomography (CT) screening efforts for lung cancer in Europe. Its main objectives include improving early detection methods, increasing screening accessibility, implementing standardized screening protocols, and enhancing the risk-benefit ratio and cost-effectiveness of lung cancer screening. Additionally, SOLACE aims to raise awareness about lung cancer risk factors and the importance of early detection among healthcare professionals and the general public. Through collaborative efforts and innovative approaches, the project seeks to reduce the burden of lung cancer by promoting timely diagnosis and improving patient outcomes.
