The Board of Trustees’s decision of April 5th, 2012, regarding the regulations for movement inside and outside the country, modified and completed in the session held by the Administration Council on January 23d, 2016
For students, the Administration Council can fund trips within the country and abroad, with the purposes mentioned in article 1 and conditions mentioned in article 5, on the condition that the student in question has yearly averages greater than 8 (eight) certified by the faculty Dean.
For each student association, the University will fund the participation of a maximum of 2 students per year at congresses held by international federations which they are members of.
Visas from the Finance Service, the Scientific Grant and Research Department, the RUNOS Service and the Legal Service are mandatory for all trips taken abroad.
All requests regarding trips within the country and abroad referred by the Head of Discipline are placed at the Rectorate – The European and International Cooperation Office, at least a month before the beginning of the scientific event, and no retroactive requests are allowed. Requests will be accompanied by the invitation received from the institution organizing the scientific events in question.
Requests for travelling within the country and abroad during the academic activity which are longer than 15 days are placed at the Rectorate – The European and International Cooperation Office, with at least a month before the beginning of the training internship. The invitation received from the institution organizing this internship must be attached to the request.
After finishing the internship, the candidate will place, within 3 days, at the R.U.N.O.S Direction – Human Resources Office – Qualifications, a request for restarting the academic activity signed by the Head of Discipline, the Department Director and the faculty Dean, which will be accompanied by a referral signed by those mentioned above, which has to state that upon restarting the academic activity, the person in question is professionally competent.
Members of the teaching staff travelling within the country and abroad for an internship lasting between 16 days and 3 months are not allowed to initiate the cessation of the employment contract for a period of 3 months after finishing the internship.
Members of the teaching staff travelling within the country and abroad for an internship lasting between 3 months and 3 years are not allowed to initiate the cessation of the employment contract for a period equal to that of the internship.
Reimbursing a fee from the University’s or research projects’ funds will be done within 60 days from the candidate’s return.
Any trip taken within the country or abroad demands the completion of a standard request available on the university site.
Upon returning, the travel report is to be presented to the Rectorate within the time limit foreseen by the Decision.
