Head of works Calin Claudiu, PhD tenured

Teaching in the Didsipline of Embryology is conducted for students of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, focusing on information related to the cephalic end.

Teaching activities are also conducted for resident physicians in Orthodontics and Dental-Facial Orthopedics with a focus on creating correlations between anatomy and abnormalities of the jaw and teeth in oro-facial development. Research activities are aimed primarily at developing interdisciplinary collaborations.

OBJECTIVES OF THE EMBRYOLOGY COURSE AND PRACTICAL LECTURES  (TO  FIRST YEAR STUDENTS) : Acquiring general knowledge about prenatal development of human structures; thorough knowledge of the development stages cephalic end their link with possible defects.

NAME OF THE OPTIONAL COURSE (ADDRESSED TO THE SECOND YEAR STUDENTS MD): Anatomical and clinical considerations on dental-dentin pulp complex. COURSE OBJECTIVES: Acquiring the theoretical knowledge with clinical application on dental-dentin pulp complex; the possibility of networking concepts taught in the context of transition from basic sciences to clinical disciplines of dentistry.
