The University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” from Bucharest is the largest institution of higher education and research in the field in Romania, enjoying both a considerable tradition and a very good reputation on the national and European levels. Along with the faculties with long traditions from the University structure- Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dental Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy-, Faculty of Midwifery and Nursing, established a few years ago, must become a prestigious component of UMPCD, recognized nationally and internationally.
Along with the doctor, dentist and pharmacist professions, also nursing and midwifery professions are representing professions regulated at EU level, implying automatic recognition of the obtained qualifications in the Romanian community.
