The European Commission through the European Council for Innovation, and in close cooperation with EU Member States, will host a pan-European hackathon to connect civil society, innovators, partners and investors across Europe between 24 and 26 April 2020. innovative solutions to the challenges related to the SARS-Cov-2 virus.
The “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Bucharest joined as a partner in this initiative https://euvsvirus.org/partners/ . I think it is very important that we contribute to this manifestation of solidarity of the European community of innovators. Only together we can defeat the invisible enemy.
I invite all interested, students / teachers to register at https://euvsvirus.org/#register to participate at this event:
– in teams or individually (in case you do not have a project in progress at this time)
– as mentors who could help teams create ideas and guide them
– as members of the jury for evaluating ideas
– as members of the health expert boards, to participate in the educational webinars organized within the hackathon.
I am sure that our minds can contribute in finding e-health solutions for supporting the medical staff and the general population, in the fight with SARS-Cov 2.
