The University of Pisa Summer School Cardiolung 2020 is a short intensive theoretical course (29 June - 4 July 2020) completely held in English language, aimed at providing state of the art knowledge and highlighting emerging scientific horizons in cardiovascular and pulmonary medicine. This will be achieved through a multidisciplinary approach including epidemiology, genetics and molecular medicine, pathophysiology and clinical medicine.
Lecturers from University of Pisa and other prestigious Italian and European research and academic institutions will do their best to provide clear and deep knowledge, prompting curiosity and debate with the attendees.
The summer school is targeted at International and Italian undergraduate students, PhD and post-doc students in Medicine and Life Sciences, with a specific interest in cardiovascular and pulmonary physiology and medicine. Four ECTS credits are provided after passing a multiple-choice questions test on the final day of the course.
We will provide participants with videorecording of all lectures and offer access to the University canteen for meals at low price, free bikes and city buses, refreshments and one social dinner.
