Many of you don’t know the 1st Bridges in Life Sciences Conference, Networking Workshop for U.S. and Central – Eastern European scientists was held on October 8-9, 2003, in Budapest, Hungary.
After 20 years the 18th RECOOP Bridges in Life Sciences Conference (Bridges) we will return to Budapest, on April 21, 2023 (Friday).
The graduate students and scientists participating on the 5th RECOOP International Student Conference from the RECOOP Member organizations can also attend the 8th RECOOP Sciences and Arts Exhibition.
The participants will depart with their senior RECOOP scientists on April 22, 2023 (Saturday).
We will have two types of presentations:
1. RECOOP Grant Related projects
2. Cedars RECOOP Research Center (CRRC) research activities
1. RECOOP Research in Progress (RRP) – RECOOP Grant Related projects
Abstract submission based on invitation
Oral presentation -10 minutes ppt
2. Cedars RECOOP Research Center (CRRC) Research
Report outcomes of research from Cedars – RECOOP Research Center (CRRC)
Interactive poster presentation – 5 minutes ppt and discussion at the poster
Poster – 120 x 90 cm (A0 format). It shall include the RECOOP HST Association logo (attached), conference name, date, and place.
CRRC abstract should be submitted in the scope of the RECOOP Research Strategy in the following research areas:
Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD)
Metabolic Disorders (MTD)
Neurodegenerative Diseases (NDD)
Reproductive Health (RPH)
Drug Development and Effects (DDE)
Medical Imaging (MI)
Nanomedicine and Safety (NMS)
Clinical Research: Oncology, Infections, Immunology, Quality of Life etc. (CLR)
Translational Medical Research (TMR)
The most relevant category according to the topic of the abstract must be mentioned in the submission e-mail.
Please strictly follow the enclosed RECOOP Abstract Guidelines 2023 and use the 18th Bridges – RECOOP Abstract Template 2023!
Please name the word file with your abstract as follows:
RRP or CRRC – Name of the institution for MATE, SOTE, DHLNMU, ICB, Palladin, WUST, SMU, and Comenius or city for Osijek, Split, Zagreb, Szeged, Pecs, Debrecen, Prague, Ternopil and Bucharest – Student´s/Scientist´s last name – First 2-4 words of the abstract title (e.g. “RRP-MATE-Nagy-Secondary Metabolism” or “CRRC-Szeged-Nagy-Secondary Metabolism”).
